The aim of this project is to analyze the thermal comfort of elderly people in Nursing Homes located in different climatic zones of cross-border cooperation space of Spain-Portugal and predict which thermal conditions are acceptable or preferred for this group of people.

Objective 1: To obtain a consistent database and control by the quality of experimental data of thermal comfort field in different climatic zones of the transboundary space of Spain and Portugal.

Objective 2: Collect the thermal sensation of the residents in the buildings under study.

Objective 3: To explore the influence of contextual and non-thermal factors on thermal perception in nursing homes.

Objective 4: To propose statistical models of thermal comfort based on the adaptive comfort model for the different climatic zones.
